Conditions of Entry

WA Solar Recycling’s (herein referred to as ‘WASR’) Wattle Grove Depot, functions as a receivables & assessment depot only. No destructive recycling activities are performed onsite and WASR does not sell to the public.

Visitors must comply with the conditions of entry, site rules, site safety notices and instructions or directions of site staff at all times.

  • If there is any doubt that an activity is compliant, stop the activity immediately and seek direction from a member of the site staff.
  • Failure to comply with any site entry conditions or requirements may result in users being required to leave the site and refused further access. 

Site Rules

  • No smoking or vaping allowed on site
  • Pedestrian access within any buildings on site is prohibited .
  • Scavenging of any waste onsite is strictly prohibited.
  • Appropriate clothing and enclosed footwear must be worn at all times.
  • Children (under 16’s) and pets MUST remain in vehicles at all times, unless an emergency situation arises.
  • Obey all signs and directions from the site attendants.
  • Entry provides access to yard only. No access to ablutions facilities onsite.
  • Aggressive behaviour is not acceptable
  • Only WASR team are authorised to use WASR equipment (ie forklift/set up of pallet scales)
  • All items deposited become the property of WASR. 
  • Unauthorised removal of any item is strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal dumping will not be tolerated onsite and appropriate authorities will be notified.

Access & Assessment Times

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm, excluding public holidays.
Small loads – please arrive at least 15mins before closing.

Large loads & bulk volumes including commercial loads / or manual handling intensive loads (eg trailer full of rail) – please arrive no later than 4pm to allow time for unloading/assessing.

  • WASR operates on a first come first served basis.
  • You may need to wait for drop off and assessment.
  • Assessment duration varies depending on the size and condition of the load, Assessment takes as long as it takes!
  • If you are a commercial client wanting a quick turnaround, book in. (Your load will be unloaded, identified with a job number and assessed/processed at a later time by the depot team).
  • Assistance with drop-offs may or may not be provided by depot staff.
  • You are expected to come prepared to be able to hand unload the goods that you have brought.

Data collection


In order to accept your waste WASR will require collection of contact details, along with details of the load, from all persons dropping off goods. Without provision of this information we are unable to accept your waste.
Site usage is monitored and WASR reserves the right to make further enquiries of the owner of the vehicle and of the premises from which the waste originated.

Accepted Items & Charges

  • View our list of accepted and not accepted items.
  • A schedule of charges is available. Where charges are applicable, WASR reserves the right to alter the charge rates at any time without any prior notice.
  • Loads must not contain unacceptable materials.
  • Loads containing unacceptable items will not be unloaded.
  • We reserve the right to turn away loads containing materials which do not meet our acceptance criteria.
  • If you have goods which we cannot accept, we suggest contacting your local council for recycling options available in your area.
  • Persons entering the site agree to give site staff unrestricted access to view and/or inspect the waste intended to be deposited for the purpose of ascertaining whether the waste is acceptable and assess any charge to apply.
  • Assessment decisions of the WASR team are final.
  • If a site user disagrees with the site staff’s assessment of whether waste is acceptable, the volume of waste and/or charges applicable, then WASR reserves the right to require the site user to leave the site without depositing the waste.

Transport of loads


Waste needs to be carried safely and vehicles bringing waste to the site should at all times comply with the Road Traffic Act (1974).

Personal Safety

  • If you cannot safely lift your items of waste from your vehicle, please bring another adult with you to help unload.
  • You are advised that sturdy footwear and gloves should be worn whilst using the site and handling your waste.


WASR is not liable for any liabilities howsoever arising, resulting from:

  • access: and/or,
  • use of this site by a site user; and/or,
  • the operation of this site.
  • Damage of vehicles
  • Drop off, navigation around site and any activities undertaken are completed at your own risk. WASR take no responsibility for any damage to vehicles, trailers, goods etc.
  • Entry is at your own risk. To the full extent permissible by the law, WASR disclaims any liability for any damages, loss or injury occurring as a result of your use of the facility.
