THREE OPTIONS FOR NON-COMMERCIAL RECYCLING
If you are a member of the public and have equipment which requires recycling, we have a few options available depending upon your location.
PERTH METRO AREA – DROP ITEMS TO US
You can drop items to our Wattle Grove Depot within public opening hours. Please check the schedule of fees at the bottom of this page to understand the disposal costs for different items.
Wattle Grove Depot
104B Gavour Road
Wattle Grove
WA 6017
OPEN
Monday – Friday: 9AM – 5PM
PERTH METRO AREA – COLLECTION SERVICE
Any volume of panels can be collected but collection fees apply (see schedule of fees below). Follow these three simple steps:
- Complete the public booking form to begin a conversation with our team and receive an obligation free quote for disposal.
- Organise collection and pay collection fee.
- Ensure items are ready at designated location and time.
PERTH METRO AREA – COUNCIL WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
Contact your local council to inquire if this service is available in your area.
By working with local councils, solar panels can be dropped off by residents at their local waste management facilities and held until a viable quantity for transport to our depot is reached.
REGIONAL AREAS – COUNCIL WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
Contact your local council to inquire if this service is available in your area.
Collection costs make it nonviable for individual and small quantities of solar panels (or other equipment) to be sent to our depot directly unless you are located within the Perth Metro region and willing to absorb these costs yourself.
If you wish to recycle your used solar equipment but live outside the Perth Metro area, we recommend you contact your local council, ask them to work with us by assigning a solar recycling drop-off location at their waste management facility. You can direct them to our local councils information page.
Complete our booking form
If you’re in the Perth Metro Region and want to arrange a collection.
